LINCOLN Neb. - (
Team Results | Individual Results| Third Round Pairings) Jessica Schiele of Oklahoma City helped her team to a tie for first place with Cal State San Marcos after shooting scores of 310-305 – 615 (+39) through two rounds. Schiele tied the national championship record for lowest score by shooting (34-34) a 68. The 2013 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championships is being contested at Wilderness Ridge Golf Club in Lincoln, Neb.

Following Cal State San Marcos and Oklahoma City is Lubbock Christian (Texas), who sits in third after registering two rounds of 304-314 – 618 (+42). Defending champion, British Columbia comes in fourth firing rounds of 312-308 – 620 (+44). Rounding out the top five is SCAD Savannah (Ga.), who improved by 13 shots in the second round and shot a 627 (320-307).

With the 68 today, Schiele jumped to the top of the individual leader board and is one-under-par for the tournament after shooting rounds of 75 and 68. Christian Liggin of Coastal Georgia shot one-under-par (71) for the second round and is three-over-par for the tournament.

Vanessa Chap of Cal State San Marcos sits in third place after shooting rounds of 75-75 – 150 (+6) for the national championship. Alex Ferrer of William Woods (Mo.) is in fourth place with a score of +7 (76- 75). Rounding out the top five of individuals is Haley Cameron of British Columbia and Mariah Montoya of Lubbock Christian. They are tied at five with rounds of 76-76 – 152 (+8).
