To add to this........
  • The Highest simultaneous rankings in NAIA national poll in NU history (10th & 15th)
  • Currently have 3 Men ranked inside Top 75 golfers in NAIA
    • (Derek- 35th, Joss- 53rd & Carter- 71st)
  • Currently have 2 Women ranked inside Top 30 golfers in NAIA
    • (Laura- 14th & Fariza- 28th)
  • Both Teams currently have 11th best Scoring Average in the Nation
The Knights have only shot above 299 twice and whilst their first tournament wasn't up to par, they rebounded quickly to win their next tournament. They have beaten many of the Top teams in the Nation and I honestly think they only played VERY well in one round this fall. They are a team full of potential and talent. If they make sure this Off-Season is full of production and they work hard (On & Off) the course, this is truly a National Championship Contending squad.

The Lady Knights have only shot above 315 twice and have been very solid the entire term.
We managed to beat the team that I believe is the No.1 ranked team in the nation, Lubbock Christian (no matter what the official rankings say!) and we competed well with a young team and a strong schedule.
I have 5 freshman on the team and, just like the guys, if they use this Off-Season to push each other and grow we could be in the Top 5 really quickly.
Our youth will not be used as an excuse, because these Ladies are good enough RIGHT NOW!

The Spring promises to be an exciting time for both teams as we search to do things that NU has never been able to do before!

Thank you for supporting the Northwood Golf Program by following their success & progress!
