GOLF WORLD ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF DECEMBER 10 MEN’S NAIA COLLEGE COACHES’ POLL
(NEW YORK, NY)—The final Golf World /Nike Golf NAIA College Coaches’ Poll of the2012 Fall Season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). With the first half of the 2012-13 season completed, Texas Wesleyan lays claim to the No. 1 ranking in the final fall Golf World /Nike Golf men's NAIA coaches' poll. The Rams won their final three starts of the fall, including the NAIA Fall Preview, and claimed 10 of the 13 available first-place votes while moving up from the No. 2 spot in the previous poll.
Oklahoma City took over in the No. 2 spot while CSU-San Marcos, U. of the Cumberlands and Bellevue round out the top five.
One new school joined the top 25: No. 13 Northwood (Texas).
