Knights 9th in latest Golf World poll!!

GOLF WORLD ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF SEPTEMBER 30 MEN’S NAIA COLLEGE COACHES’ POLL
Oklahoma City Claims Top Spot

NEW YORK, NY (September 25, 2013) — The latest Golf World/Nike Golf NAIA College Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Oklahoma City claimed all nine available first-place votes as the Stars earned the No. 1 ranking in the latest Golf World/Nike Golf men's NAIA coaches' poll. In its first two starts of the fall, Oklahoma City has two victories, including the NAIA Fall Preview at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.

CSU-San Marcos moved up two spots from the preseason poll to settle into the No. 2 spot, with Texas Wesleyan, Grand View and Johnson & Wales rounding out the top five.

Two new programs moved into the top 10: No. 8 Oklahoma Baptist (runner-up at the NAIA Fall Preview) and No. 10 Coastal Georgia.

Four new schools joined the top 25: No. 20 Southeastern, No. 21 Northwood (Fla.), University of Victoria (tied at No. 23) and No. 25 Holy Cross.
