WHAT A LIST! And what an achievement by these players!

Did it end like we would have wanted? No, we didn't win the National Championship which is the ultimate aim for this program.
However after dwelling on it I truly am very proud of what we have achieved this year.

We had 48 chances to win (11 team, 11 ind x 2), We won 10 times (5 team, 5 ind).
I like that percentage of winning!

My players also won OFF the course with both teams having GPA's over 3.0 including the guys who in the Spring had a 3.45 team GPA.

I want to wish Laura, Joss & Derek well on their new adventures. They will be leaving us for pastures anew. In particular Derek & Joss who were part of my first recruiting class.
You have both worked extremely hard to get where you are, its been fun to see what happened when equal parts talent & work ethic combine.
We all wish all 3 of you well for the future.
Thank you for help making history at Northwood.

I want to personally thank our Seniors, Travis, Ian and Esther.
They have stood by me for 3 years and worked their backsides off.

Travis graduated Valedictorian with a cumulative GPA of 3.95.
Esther graduated an All American after fighting her way back from a career threatening injury.
Ian who pushed harder than anyone to keep his roster spot and find a way to get through college.
Its been a pleasure to get to know you, I believe you are the best prepared Seniors to ever come out of this program.

I can be very tough sometimes, I have very high standards and I hold my players to them.
This year we achieved stuff that Northwood has never been able to do before.
I don't say this often enough to my players......I am so proud of you.
Each and every one of you has contributed to our success.

I hope all of you reading this have a great summer!

Til next year!
Coach
